How do I know if R32 is right for my system?
Check the equipment label or service documentation. Your system should specifically list R32 as the required refrigerant before you order.
Can R32 replace R410A or R22?
No. R32 is not a drop-in replacement for R410A or R22. Use it only in equipment specifically designed and approved for R32. Never mix refrigerants.
Does R32 require special handling?
Yes. R32 is classified A2L (mildly flammable). Servicing requires a qualified technician, suitable A2L tools and ventilation. Keep the cylinder away from heat, sparks and flames, and follow its label, supplier SDS and equipment instructions.
